Day 7+8
Once again, a scenic and romantic drive before we reach Tarangire National Park, one of Africa’s most beautiful parks. Discover overwhelming elephant herds and zebras. Relax amidst the bush. End the day here with a delicious dinner before finding rest in this piece of paradise.

Day 9+10
After a few unforgettable days in the wilderness, we move on to one of the absolute highlights of this trip: the impressive Ngorongoro Crater. Naturally, we will also descend into this extraordinary crater, where we will search for the rare rhinoceros, among other things.
First, you will enjoy a delicious breakfast, after which we will take a final game drive through Tarangire. Next, we will gather our gear and head towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. There, we will visit one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa, where another unforgettable slow safari experience awaits you.

Day 11
From here, during this slow safari, we head truly towards the Serengeti via the Ngorongoro Highlands. But not before we have a bush breakfast.

This will be two full days in the beautiful central Serengeti. Because there are not many “real” roads here, the wildlife can live here completely undisturbed, which also makes this area excellent for year-round safaris.
The name “Serengeti” is derived from the word “seringit” in the Maasai language Maa, which means “endless plains”.

We enjoy one last morning in this vast savannah and stay in the park until around midday – a final chance to say goodbye to this impressive wilderness. Afterwards, we drive south back to Karatu, situated on the edge of the Ngorongoro area that you have driven through before.
