After a delicious breakfast and a relaxing day at the beach, we board a traditional dhow in the late afternoon. During this atmospheric boat trip, you will then experience the magic of Zanzibar City by night.
Afterwards, you will meet unique people and, moreover, enjoy the enchanting culture and special atmosphere of this historic city.

Discover the glorious sunshine and diversity of local culture that Zanzibar has to offer. A relaxed and more personal way to see the villages is to hop on two wheels and explore the countryside by taking a guided bike tour.

Day 4
After a delicious breakfast, we continue our beach safari in the quiet northeast of this spice island. The transfer will drop you off at your boutique hotel right by the sea after approximately an hour’s drive.
From the moment we arrive, you will be fascinated by the intricate Swahili designs that adorn these spaces, a testament to Zanzibar’s vibrant heritage.

Day 5
Villa Kiva is the perfect example of how modern luxury and traditional Swahili culture can coexist. Perfect for relaxing for a while today before moving on and undertaking more activities.

Popular inhabitants of this forest are the Zanzibari Kirk’s Red Colobus (monkey), which jumps from tree to tree in search of tender leaves, berries, and fruit.

Day 7
Sailing from Fumba on the southwest coast of the island in a dhow (a local boat) to a coral reef where you can snorkel in beautiful turquoise water while spotting colorful fish, sunbathing on a sandbank, enjoying a seafood barbecue lunch on an uninhabited island in the middle of Menay Bay, and swimming in a natural lagoon. A day full of fun at sea, though we will have to get up early.

Day 8
We start the safari with a relaxing overnight stay at Camp Bastian (Mikumi), following a train and car journey from Dar es Salaam. Back home, enjoy the pool, explore the surroundings, or unwind after the transfer. This is how this unforgettable adventure to Mikumi National Park begins without a care in the world.
Next, we discover a park that is not only known for its impressive predator populations, but also forms an important habitat for large numbers of elephants.

Day 9
After a delicious breakfast, this safari adventure begins! Experience the splendor of Mikumi National Park in a flat area with a beautiful orange light, perfect for safari photography…. Encounter unique animals and enjoy the enchanting natural beauty. Reason enough, therefore, to spend a full day exploring this park today….

Day 10
Mafia is undoubtedly the best diving location in Tanzania. It is a small paradise that has a surprising amount to offer. Moreover, and quite remarkably, it is also suitable for less experienced divers. Thanks to the calm conditions and the varied underwater world, both beginners and more experienced divers can enjoy themselves to the fullest here.
After our stay in Mikumi, we return to Dar es Salaam. Next, we take the plane to Mafia, where we are already waiting for us upon arrival. This way, the diving adventure can begin without any detours.

Surrounded by a protected marine park, the diving, fishing, and snorkeling here are the best in the entire region. Mafia is truly an excellent destination for those who want to spend some time in the underwater world and are interested in nature and outdoor activities.

Our holiday/safari in Tanzania and Zanzibar was a huge success! We were able to have coffee and lunch with local families, and we walked and cycled through beautiful, green valleys. We enjoyed the African music, the delicious Swahili food, and the conversations with the locals. Thanks to our driver Patrick, the safaris were a great success. The entire trip was perfectly planned, with always room for an extra request or question. It was already the second time I booked through LLS… but certainly not the last.
What started as a trip grew into an adventure that was much more than just beautiful beaches, unique animals, and impressive nature. Tanzania and Zanzibar surprised, moved, and stunned me.
